Last updated: April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how WildFireVantage ("WFV," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at wildfirevantage.com and use our services (the "Service"). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to site operators. We also use similar technologies including local storage, session storage, and web beacons (tracking pixels).
2. Types of Cookies We Use
A. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled. They do not require consent because the Service cannot operate without them.

Note: This table will be updated as we add or change analytics providers. If you have questions about a specific cookie, contact us.
3. Other Tracking Technologies
- Local storage — We use browser local storage to save app state and preferences for a faster experience. This data stays on your device.
- Session storage — Temporary data stored during your browsing session, cleared when you close the tab.
- Web beacons (pixels) — Small transparent images in emails that help us understand whether emails were opened and which links were clicked.
We do not use browser fingerprinting to identify or track users.
4. Mobile App Tracking
Our mobile applications use mobile analytics SDKs that function similarly to cookies. On iOS, we comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and will request your permission before tracking activity across other companies' apps and websites. You can manage tracking permissions in your device's Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
5. Your Cookie Choices
A. Consent Management
When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page.
B. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Common options include:
- Blocking all cookies or only third-party cookies
- Deleting cookies when you close the browser
- Receiving a prompt before a cookie is set
Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly. If you block analytics cookies via browser settings, we will respect that choice.
C. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of non-essential cookies and tracking.
D. Opt-Out Links
You can also opt out of specific third-party analytics services directly:
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
6. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party cookies are set by services other than WildFireVantage. These cookies are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy. We do not control how third parties use their cookies. Currently, third-party cookies on our site are limited to analytics providers as listed above.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent.
7. Data Retention for Cookies
Cookie durations are listed in the tables above. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Analytics data collected via cookies is retained in identifiable form for up to 12 months, then aggregated or deleted.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated via the cookie consent banner.
